FAQ
Do I need a vet referral for hydrotherapy sessions?
Yes, we require all clients to have a referral from their veterinary surgeon stating hydrotherapy is safe and suitable for their pet. This gives the vet the opportunity to highlight any relevant conditions and/or medications that our hydrotherapists need to be aware of prior to their treatments.
Can I claim the cost of my session through pet insurance?
It is worth checking with your pet insurance company as it will depend on your insurer. This kind of treatment may come under complementary therapies. Where you are covered by your policy, we will still require you to pay for your session in advance.
Will other animals be using the pool/aquatic treadmill at the same time?
No. We want to ensure that every pet has an enjoyable experience and recognise that not every animal enjoys sharing their space. Please kindly note that your pet may see another animals as you enter and exit the facility.
Do I need to get in the pool with my pet?
No, our trained staff are in the water to support your pet. We cannot accommodate owners being in the water with their pets due to health and safety.
Does my pet need to be vaccinated?
We recommend all animals using our facilities are fully vaccinated.
What happens if I am unable to attend my appointment?
Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an appointment. We do reserve the right to charge for missed appointments if we do not receive at least 24 hours notice.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
Please let us know if you feel you are going to be late for your appointment. We will try and accommodate you and carry out as much of the session as possible.
